AMS Buccaneer Update
Greetings all, I am happy to announce that our Afterschool Bus Program has been extended to each day of the week in order to accommodate/support our military families and their children. The afterschool bus schedule will now be as followed: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: Bus pickup at the middle school: 4:25 PM Departure from the high school: 4:45 PM Wednesday: Bus pickup at the middle school: 3:25 PM Departure from the high school: 3:45 PM Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Music in Our Schools Month
DoDEA joins the National Association for Music Education and schools across the nation in celebrating Music in Our Schools Month (MIOSM) in March. The purpose of recognizing MIOSM in DoDEA is to highlight and advocate for music programs in our schools.
National Reading Month
DoDEA joins the National Education Association and schools across the nation in celebrating Read Across America on March 2nd and all year long to help motivate kids to read, bring the joys of reading to students of all ages, and make all children feel valued and welcome.

The Department Announces New Director of DoWEA

The College Board announced that 39 Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) high schools have been named to the Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll.
DoDEA Career and Technical Education Month
DoDEA celebrates CTE Month every February as a reminder to students that Career and Technical Education programs are available to all those who want to pursue a college education; enlist in the military; or enter directly into the workforce.
