Antilles MS Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences a Success!
AMS families utilized a new automated booking system to schedule almost 400 conferences that took place on Friday, October 18th, 2024.
On Friday, October 18th, Antilles MS welcomed families to meet with our teachers for Parent/Teacher/Student Conference Day. On this important day in our school year, AMS encourages our stakeholders to review their student's progress so far this school year, and to make plans for improvement and/or continued success in the quarters to come. Using a new automated booking system, parents/guardians were able to self-schedule appointments with teachers at times that worked best for their schedules. They were also able to choose between in person and virtual conferences, allowing working families and those parents/guardians who are TDY to still fully participate in their student's educational success.
The automated booking system successfully facilitated the scheduling of 262 individual conferences, as well as 14 meetings in a group setting that replaced the equivalent of 123 individual conferences. That's 385 Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences in one day! AMS looks forward to continuing to keep all stakeholders informed about student success; the Aspen platform is the official platform for communicating progress, and should be updated weekly with current grades and assignment names.
